Why did it break?

I've never broken one in several years of use.

Don't blame G's.

Best pole I know of.

Which section number is it that has broken? Sometimes a quick temporary repair can be effected which will allow you to continue working. Let me know the number of the section and I can then advise.

You should have a spare pole in case of an emergency like this ;D

With the sl2 pole all the sections can be easily repaired, take it to you local fishing tackle shop and they will be able to do it for you.

I broke the number 4 section on the second time I used it, I did repair it as well as replacing it.

If you cannot wait for the section to be repaired, you can always jam the 2 broken parts together, it's a quick fix in the field.

Yeh ive broken a few sections on my sl2, easiest and quickest fix, saw the 2 ends off neatly and slide the top end up the bottom, it will go tight then wrap some gaffa tape around.  It will be slightly shorter but hey...it will still work. Done this about 4 times on mine and its never moved.

Your fault mate. Super Lites are virtually indestructible if looked after. I know, I've got one!

Operator error, nothing to do with the pole.

Thats simply not true.

im a fan of gardiners poles but ive snapped sl2 sections while just holding the pole at height.

I agree I have snapped one section and it was not my fault, it happens.

Do not think many 1 man bands have a spare 46ft pole. Definitely good to have a spare every day pole though.
