Bucket joes

Does any one use window cleaning soaps in their bucket for trad work? I use good old fairy. WCBO did an article called Soap Wars. It was comparing the special soaps for window cleaning.

It's just washing up liquid but made from natural......errrr.....stuff and not chemicals. Well, that's what Ecover say.

for the pro, you can use gg4/gg3 in hard water area mixed with sorbo easy gluide , glimmer clean is meant to be good as well, being wfp i just use fairy on the trad work so i can squirt it straight on to the applicator and carry a small bottle of water in my pocket for wetting

This style of working is getting more popular now rather than carrying a bucket. Wagga does this, is it something you picked from wagga or you just thought it was an easy way of working?

Never rated Fairy myself, always found it too soapy, very draggy and it plays f**k with my hands in colder weather. Am now currently using W5 (lidl) blue, works good for me ;)

I used Fairy to begin with, but tried Squeegee Off and found it better so im sticking with that.
