I hate this patch malarkey, you wouldn't see the manger of your local Trsco shouting from his car at the manager of the co-op.

Maybe not, but when i was driving one of them vans with the A frame advertising hoarding on advertising the Range (a new store) i did get moved on by the manager of the B&Q and the manager of Homebase as in their words...i was bad for business.

There's a good chance they may be joking, they usually stad on your hose reel here so you have to look up and see they're not !!!  .

We don't seem to have this problem in Devon or at least not in the 20 + years I've been going.
Most Window Cleaners here know each other, share work and help each other out.
Could be we'd like to take issue but just can't be bothered....

Im surprised there isnt more of this going on. Its a shame we dont get our own patch as a total compact round would be the ultimate. Imagine 4-500 customers over 4 roads. Would be heaven. Instead we have 11 or 12 window cleaners working the same roads doing the odd 1 or 2 on each road.

We have a buy and sell board on here anyone ever heard of or tried a job swap board?
I agree with Mick it is pretty stupid half a dozen cleaners on the same street all doing 1 or 2 houses.
I suppose the bigest problem is trust not many would want to give away what they are doing, where and for how much.
