Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of going into Pressure washing as well as the windows.
How many of you guys already offer this service? Driveways, patio's ect ect....

And the big question is....Prices??
What do you charge for the average driveway or whatever?

Any help guys would be as always greatly appreciated.

Honestly.......Having bought a setup last year my advice would be that you need to dedicate a lot to it. Its mucky work. Really mucky. Would advise not taking it lightly. Dont think "add on" think "another business" imo the hole goes way deeper than wfp. So no half measures or you might regret ever starting it. On a positive note you can do good money with the right gear.

ps buy cheap buy more than twice. Its and expensive "hobby"

already have a 3 head '20inch Rotary cleaner I picked up at a local auction very cheap, so was pondering either sell it on or look to pick up a 13HP engined washer to get started.
Its just the pricing I'm noyt sure of and time? How long to clean an average Driveway ect ect

Don't get side tracked. Lots of time and effort drumming up business for a one off job. Put the same effort into window cleaning and you have regular work for years to come.

Besides driveway cleaning is the province of the Pikeys round here. There have been warnings about them cold calling.

I think the general concensus is 13hp 15 litres a minute. You should be able to pick up a set up for a grand. thats pw/ fsc/ hp hose and a couple of lances, wouldnt go cheaper than that coz it will break.

I got a good deal on a full set up honda GX390 with a lot of spares and a lovely retractable reel and ifor williams trailer, and I still struggle with it. Just sent it for a service and they charged me £200 quid!! Could have got a nice pole for that.

My advice would be go for it big time or leave it alone. I landed a regular contract before I bought the gear and although its nice to earn in the rain I stopped enjoying it pretty quick.

Also I wouldnt bother with one off jobs. Find a regular clean and buy some gear. Way to much to go wrong on driveways, and if there is issue with the drainage its a pig.

Its got to be double what you earn wc or you will begrudge it. Lots to go wrong and if your pw breaks you gotta bust at least 600 quid quick smart. Ever done that wc?
