Today, the National Flood School not only supports & trains restorers, it also provides information and support for many other associated industries including insurers and loss adjusters.

The National Flood School was founded in 1988 to drive the standard of restoration professionals and protect the public from the anguish and distress caused by unqualified restorers. We are acutely aware that poorly trained restorers can give the restoration industry as a whole a bad name and that a bad experience can directly impact the insurer, causing policy holders to move their valuable business elsewhere.
In order to assist us in delivering our aims, we've built and use as part of our training & research programme, the only “Flood House” in Europe as well as writing and maintaining the BSI Code of Practice for professional Water Damage Mitigation (PAS 64).
