Just wanted to say i have replaced the 3 clamps on my clx18 this morning... has given the pole a new lease of life

If you change the clamp as well it's better still. Don't ask me why but it works. Like I said I was sceptical too. And I didn't saw anything off. New body and lever is stretchy and springy without being stretched out permanent if that makes sense.

My number one section was right out of adjustment and now it's got a new lease of life. I might finally get to use that new section I bought one day!
