On first cleans and you get filthy moss ridden and black frames do you scrub it with brush and just get it as good as poss without reaching for chemicals etc,I had a couple of stubbon frames I just do the best I can and have not been going over the top on the bad ones.

Do 1 and if its taking you ages to make it perfect knock on clients door and explain this and give them the option if they want them spotless will be an added fee.
Ive never had to do this because i find it comes of fairly easy normally but yours might be diffrent.
Cheers cliff

I use virosol on really bad first cleans, as long as you rinse well with pure after they come up mint ;)

To be honest I just scrub them, some of the worst ones still have some marks, but the majority come up lovely, where do you stop as a lot of front doors are covered in marks that would take hours to remove?

As said above mate. Do one window and if it takes an age estimate how long the rest will take you and then knock on the door and explain in a professional manner that it has taken you x amount of time to do one and the job is priced at £xx and if they want the frames all spot on it will cost an extra £x. I've just ordered some titan A1 so I'm going to give that a go on frames and see how it does. I got some gg4 while I was at it for when I blade windows. A guy I know tells me he washes his water fed pole brushes in it and they come up a treat and because the liquid is low foaming it doesn't make a mess of the windows. But that's a secret between me and you magic make sure you don't tell any other window cleaners!  ;) ;D
