got to love the post office
« on: May 02, 2012, 10:30:51 am »
having a load of calls today to ask to payonline ;D due to the price increase in stamps, it is going to save loads of time contacting people to get them online.
not only does it save them money and I get paid quicker, it also saves me money in bank charges and waiting at the bank.

Win Win, love it  ;D

How else is getting this, and who else is going to capitalize of this ?

I have a good system with sae, although I provide a second class stamp! nearly all pay within 7 days.
the ones that are in pay on the day!
I offer online payment and more are choosing this also.
I have 400 a month that is done at the end of the week over 2 days that I collect. but this is all literally on my doorstep, and this helps with cash flow and its all CASH !...

I do have a handfull of bad payers , but rather than dump them I do them every few months on a sat morning!

I find that on the whole the online payers are the slowest.

that may be the case ...but I always have a bundle of checks that I dont pay in for about a week , and then its 4 days clearance....so it does even out!

I put the 2nd class stamp on for custies, so can't see any mad rush to pay via bank transfer here.  :(

The ones that do pay via bank transfer, most have it on a standing order set up their end, so it comes out on the same day each month, generally a week after they're due.

I have to keep an eye on bank payments though, as one dodgy customer didn't bother telling me that she was cancelling her transfer and i cleaned it 4 times without realising.  :o
