I sent mine off to Pure Freedom even though it was way out of warranty and they sent it off to be fixed and returned it to me all for £45 odd.
Took ages though and I'd already bought another but I know have a spare which I should have bought ages ago. Also fitted a bypass to make double sure I can always work.

It does sound as it is on its way out, There are any number of reasons for this, as for the charger it sounds like the relay may have gone or even be moisture damage to the board.
If you wanted it repaired the suggestion would be to return it to PF. The price shown by Traps gives you an approx idea of what it would cost.
Sounds like you also have an older V3 analogue nice to hear that it is still going well. As for replace or repair - one advantage of replacing would be the new control would have a 12 month warranty.

I thought you meant the display was going out or something when you said it kept cutting out.

well yes display went of and would not work the pump but last two days worked ok so all i can put it down to was air lock or maybe low voltage on battery but it was not that low but fitted new split charger so maybe that helped   :o ::) ;D

Was the controller shutting down? or was the pump shutting down?

The controller will shut down if voltage below 11V is detected although you would a;so see a BAT warning at 11.5 or below.

With a spilt relay the leisure battery will only charge up while the engine and alternator is running, as a general rule you will not replace all the current used in a day while driving between jobs. I would suggest that even with a split relay you should charge your batteries every  2 - 3 days.

Cheers
