Hi ScrimShady

First buy a TDS meter and take a tds reading of your mains water.

Anything over 100 parts per million is considered hard water.

If it is over 100tds an r/o unit will be cheaper in the long run, you can buy a 200gal per day one for just under £200.

You will need a 12 volt pump recommend 100psi flowjet.

Also a 500ltr tank max for escort.

And a leisure battery with a min 85 amp power out put.

Are you also on water meter?

Regards Roy

Only kidding mate.

Decide if you are going portable, ie trolley, or tank supply in van.(Just to confuse things, you can do both).
If you go for a tank, best advice is get the biggest that will fit in you van(remember weight limit for your model.  1litre water - 1kg)

Use the "search" section on this forum put the item you're thinking about in there.  Swat up.  Most of your questions have already been answered, read it all.
Excellent reference.
