« on: January 08, 2006, 05:08:52 pm »
Hi all,
having been full time now for 8 months i have a window cleaning round of 150 customers and and a steadily growing carpet cleaning base as well. I have been contacted by a letting agent to do their cleans and have a meeting on tues, where i need help is pricing or a ball park figure for cleaning of 3 bed semi say, this will be a good thing for me but do not want to go in dirt cheap, any help would be great
many thanks simb0

There is "UK Carpet Cleaning Forum", which is a bit higher, I suppose you would get a better response from there, however, I would suggest searching that Forum for "charges" and/or similar words and you will find the answer.
Good luck,

I have found that when I get work from a Letting Agent they usually have a budget - that being the amount of 'deposit' that they have retained from the outgoing tenant.

Any cleaning costs will be deducted from that so they are limited to what they can spend.

I usually get them to tell me what the budget is and get them to spend that  :D

Remember that it is the tenants money you are spending so they don't really care what you charge as long as they are holding enough to pay for it.

The way I do it is to always look at the job first then you CAN give a fixed price.
