How much to deliver flyers?
« on: April 17, 2012, 09:51:48 am »
Some one I know who is currently out of work is willing to drop flyers through doors for me.

I was just wondering what the going rate is per flyer dropped these days?

Thanks.

The going rate of pay for the guys who deliver pizza menus and minicab cards round here is about £20 a day. But thats because they are illegals and are being exploited. However there are thousands of them.

Its possible, I have done it but its a real slog. It depends really on the houses. Street after street of typical semis close packed togeather is ideal. Big detatched houses and the output goes down. Houses with letterboxes on the bottoms of the doors slow you down as well because you have to bend each time. It also depends whether you push them right through (as you should) or just leave it sticking out.

If you do too many in one day you ruin your motivation to go out and do it again the next day.

me and a freind did 1000 a day for a leaflet compnay when younger easy days work, it depends though if you target houses or just blanket houses. a load of viaiables but can be done by people that do it day in day out.

£7 a hour for leaflets is good money for the leafleter

aslong as this is single leaflet and not batch as they most of them time hit the bin at the same time.

this year i have now  allocated 70 quid a week to go on leafletting, which is 2 five hour sessions . i had 2 leaflet workers up until recently but it wasnt cost effective down to skiving

my aim is to double my round by year end but its been a shakey start due totally down to skiving workers. im on leafletter number 5 at the moment,a girl of 16, she is doing it properly at the minute and she is on a promise to move onto squeegee work later

My guy delivers 1000 a day easy.

Two days ago he dropped 1k then phoned me in asking to pick him up, I was too far away. he dropped another 100-150 while waiting.

Sometimes he gets a difficult day and can only drop 850-900. depends on an area
I pay him £45 a day.
