Rain 2012
« on: April 09, 2012, 12:55:20 pm »
According to some weather enthusiast who predicts weather seasons (local radio), says nationally we are in for record rain over the next few weeks and then very long dry sunny spells into October. If you believe any of that then you do believe fairies live in your garden. ;D

In 1976, a minister for drought was appointed to co-ordinate water rationing etc.  Very shortly after, it peed down for ages.  Probably the most effective politician in history.  Memory says it was Dennis Howell - the one time minister for sport.
