Having only started as a window cleaner in oct i wish now i had started 20 years ago rather than being stuck on building sites working for nothing .i had spoke to people about it before but never really thought of it as a good career choice,how wrong was i. so i would like to congratulate all you lucky windys that have been doing it for years. you lucky lucky sods

Why assume that? Tbh I feel the same as OP. Worked as a labourer in the past, factory work etc... Very hard work at times, hated working for someone else. Now I earn a lot more doing a job I don't mind without a boss  I do have OCD though so window cleaning gives me certain enjoyment!

I do something IT related, but I must admit the grass is greener. I do sometimes look out longingly on a lovely day and find myself actually missing working on Windows. Depths of winter I realise I have def made the right decision tho.

Did it for 20 years, I think thats enough for anyone!

The actual job can be a little repetative however getting paid daily does help however if you can find one aspect of the business you enjoy then this can help.
For me its canvassing as from a sales background for 25 years so now do at least 1 day a week canvassing.
