Internal WC pole
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:20:35 pm »
Anybody got any good advice for an INTERNAL window cleaning pole ?

Would prefer to use the microfibre pad type than dobber/blade type but am open to suggestions!

Got some high internal work, above some staircases to do that doesn't warrant the cost of a small tower and the angles are wrong for our ladders/frames.

i have used the vikan easy shine - you can get an adaptor for it to fit onto your normal wfp for about 7 quid.

however you will need to clean the windows twice the first time as they don't always come up to well

rather than putting pure on the pads we have far more success using white vinegar.

the wagtails are supposed to be really good if you can get the hang of them...  :)

Mark Etting, give us a clue, where do I know you from?!?

Don't do Next anymore, they've gone with a national company apparently. Although my wife (who should have shares in Next) says the windows look terrible now and don't look as though they're being cleaned at all anymore. As we say to all customers, cheap doesn't mean good!!

Thanks for the input chaps  :)
