This sounds good!

Do you fill tank direct with tap water or use carbon and sediment filters first?

Thanks M8
Will order DI vessel tomorow.
Gonna have a chat with them first thinking bout one of them Spectrum things.
http://www.gapswater.co.uk/acatalog/SPECTRUM-high-yield-pressure-vessel-1895.html
But they have a note - Please note that the volume of resin is 5.6L for the 8 X17 and 17.8L for the 8 X35
So I reckon the downside would be more frequent changes.
Cheers

Between 80 -  90 TDS out of the tap -  it goes up and down a bit.

That's about the same as my tap water. You'll be fine with 2 DI's ;)
