How to make them keep the leaflet?
« on: March 30, 2012, 07:17:21 pm »
I am having some high quality, almost card like flyers, printed, on A5, trifold (possibly) or A5 flat, silk finish.

Contact details, pictures & service offered will all be present.

The lay out is not where I am struggling.

These will be going to commercial premises, councils, retail outlets right next to where we are working.

I want them to retain them and either stick them on their desk or stick them on a noticeboard (until they are ready to call)

I need something to go on them that will make them something they will retain and look at.

My thoughts are calendars of the next two years. Is there something else that could be done to help retain them.

Your thoughts please

Rob ;D

A calendar is a very good idea (maybe 1 year though so its bigger)

In the olden days id say make it a mousemat

I have seen others put on useful numbers (like local council, or tuning for local radio stations)

Custom pens usually get kept, but they can be v expensive.

How about "1st clean half price with this leaflet" (could be costly though - well hopefully  ;D)

Ask the take-aways in the area and put all their web addresses/tel. nos on the back (id def. keep that!)

Hope something here has helped!  ;D

the only thing that we keep are pens and mugs.  best bet for leaflets is magnetic backs i reckon.

i wouldn't keep a cleaning leaflet because of a calender.  i have calenders on my laptop, on my phone, and a big one on my office wall.

A5 ruled notepads - I use them so I keep them and they are always on my desk.  I'm sure other people will as well.  I currently use one from my envelope supplier - I'll phone them next time as it's always in front of me.

Not cheap but one decent commercial job from them would pay for them.

Quick look gives various prices (I searched for A5 printed pads) http://www.centreprint.co.uk/pads.htm

They will keep the leaflet only if they want to.

I knocked a customer's door the other day (an elderly lady that I do every 3 months).

On a small table near the front door was my leaflet. It was a bit screwed up (probably caused by my posting it through her door 6 months ago). But it had survived!
