none of my water goes to them, it is all in my garden/property one way or another

i have 3 water butts connected to the down pipe .the water comes from a perspex roof which  i just cleaned.i put a sponge on the drain aswell .i just pump it to the tank in the van and through a di vessel.simples

glad it worked out.if you want u can hav her cousin too,ive just dropped her as she started getting funny with me after 4yrs, " dementia"? maybe but very rude   this is on St.johns
