spooky ... just going thru this at the moment myself ... im 2 years in and ashamed to admit until very recently just had a shrug and a guess at conny pricing .... end result is now got a few older jobs that are underpriced when compared to what I charge now.

Thought about the £1 a window for connys but quickly dropped that idea as would be too expensive for the customer and beleive me I do go for the top end when I price new jobs but even I wouldnt be able to look em in the eyes  :o :o

So now work on 50p a panel ... last 1 I priced was 5 panels along each side, 4 panels on front and a set of double doors (panel being glass window or door) so this one came out at £8

Will be applying this to all my old jobs come price increase time in April .. may loose a few but hey ho not to worry  :)

they are quite happy to pay that and more.  Most i've got for a standard conny roof was £90.

to be honest, i dont like doing them so i;m happy to charge this much as its the price that makes them worth doing for me.

errrr id be nuts to do a roof panel at 50p  :o :o :o

roof panels start at a fiver EACH depending how bad they are.

i think wizkid is on drugs or drunk judging by some of his strange posts lately!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

if its a standard small 3 bed semi on compact estate work ive been guilty of just charging a couple of quid extra.on new work i usually add an extra £3-£5.on bigger ones then £10.

if the conny has been built where you would normally clean patio doors then its sometimes only an extra 4 windows.

i do think 50p a  window is about right ian on connys.
price higher/work harder!

Sorry Daz: I don`t drink and never taken drugs in my live I am old school. There two views on Pricing Northern prices ,Southern pricing. The lowest and crapest windy in my town will not clean one window for under a quid. A 3 bed semi would be 15-17 quid.I am getting tired of reading so much slanted and one sided advice on this forum. Which is pulling our industry down were we need to speak our services and pricing up.Utilities go up ,petrol goes up food goes up and they are all still in business, but when its  windows we must be happy with the scraps of the table.I have always worked in the money side of business and came into window cleaning and all of a sudden see a bunch of guys worth every ounce of the money and more. But have such a poor self image as an industry they hold themselves back from earning what they are really worth.I do admire you for your fantastic progress you have made in the last year but my only wish is to see more guys move that way.I have not lived long in the U K and this make me see things a little different light and that might make me appear like a nut at time but |I am a very normal nice guy who cares for others.Maybe a little to forthright.  My customers absolutely love me and I probably can get away with a lot more. Best wish to all my fellow Windies.

Minimum £1 per pane!!!!!! most conservatories have more glass in than the rest of the house!

conservatory roofs, £4/5 per large pannel + 2.50 for teh smaller pannels, and add 5 for the windoows etc, works out about right
