Interview and selection process

Hello all,

Anyone have any tips to share when interviewing for cleaner postions.

I seem to be having trouble selecting good thorough cleaners.Does anyone have an interview sheet with essential questions, etc?
It's hard to see if they can di they job until you have put them on to a job.
However, I do interview at the persons home, and take into account the standard of their own home.

Any tips would be gratefully recieved.

hi there,

first of all we look at theire ability to communicate with the client, and to be able to understand what the client wants.

we then seek to find out if the have any experience of this industry, if so what expoerience, and what are you doing now~?

why did you leave your previous cleaning role?

whay do you want to do this job?

we then put them on an 8 week proabation, and take it from there.

i like the idea that you interview people at there own homes but you say that you  a look at how clean there house is and think that this will give u a good impression on how well they will clean for u. i dont agree with this because im a good cleaner in an office pub or what ever im cleaning but to be honest with you my house isnt as clean as it could be,maybe i should have one of my cleaners to do my house instead...

I have no intention to offend you, just there is a saying, which could be translated in to English as:
 “a boot maker has never got his own shoes sorted”
