prochem leather cleaner
« on: March 24, 2012, 01:56:57 pm »
I think i may be a bit out of date as i am still using prochem leather cleaner.
works pretty well but sometimes a bit of a struggle with it.
have stuck with it due to having a prochem supplier 2 mins. from me.

anyone else still using the prochem cleaner?
if not are the other makes a real improvement in your opinion?

thanks

Tried the prochem leather cleaner before but thought it was rubbish along with thier urine nuetrilizer, browning treatment, coffee stain remover... a few others.

I usually use Chemspec's leather cleaner and condtioner. This does a good job but I dont do alot of leather to be honest. Sometimes you get fabric suites that have leather parts to them, this is where the leather cleaner comes out.

Also heard great reviews on Restormates leather cleaner:
http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/0006p/SubProducts/0006p

I'll be getting some when I next get a leather cleaning job.

I've tried a number of products over the years (because I believe that is the only way of finding the best) and some of the supposedly recognised brands, not mentioning names are nowhere near as good as the ones you come across by trying a range of products. Used to get product from a company in Rawtenstall that supplied leather cleaning products to the like of Rols Royce, Bentley and Jaguar and it was brilliant, but they went but the guy retired >:(
