It's not just getting the trolley out of the van. It is manouevering it through gardens, steps, passages to position. Thn there is the constant kinking of microbore extension. I had 20 metres, but normally had to keep moving the trolley. Airlocks if you let the barrel empty then time wasted to clear it. It is a hassle. Plain and simple.

please sack the trolley idea mate or at least leave it in the van connected up to a tank and 100m of microbore.i used a trolley for a year.it was far harder work and slower as well.it might be ok to use on the odd job but you ll find where you can get a trolley you can get a hose!!

I started with a trolly then progressed on to a trailer, now have a van mount so have almost done all the systems the van mount is the best way by far but there are occasions where a trolly would be usefull, getting around back of terraced houses for instance. but on the whole I would never go back, van mount all the way saves time and effort.

Why not have the trolley but stick a 100 metre hose reel in van and run it off the trolley, then you can bring trolley out for awkward jobs but leave it in for others, if funds are tight start with the trolley but pick up your hose reel a week or two after starting work, you can then suss out for yourself which is easier but have the best of both worlds to start with, hope this helps
