Best place to buy a pump
« on: February 24, 2012, 05:52:35 pm »
Where is the best, and cheapest, place to get hold of a 100psi shurflow pump please????

I'd normally just go to Varitech as that's what I've always done but I know that they're not the cheapest around so any suggestions welcome.

MAny thanks in advance ;D

Have you considered getting a vyair pump? They are a lot cheaper and very good.  :)

As for shuflo, they are similar prices wherever you go, the cleaning warehouse and pure freedom sell them

The small pumps from hewits only last a couple off months at most then you have to buy a new one they are from china stick to the 100 psi ones last a lot longer, one lasted me over a year and half before replacing pressure switch

Try this ones from http://www.cleaningspot.co.uk/acatalog/water_pumps.html . I have got 2 Aquatec's, really nice, very reliable.

Which output do you use Lee?

I used the male to male straight thread, then my shurflo strainer screwed on to that

how long do you find your pumps lasting?

my shurflo 100 psi pump on my pure freedom trolley is nearly 2 years old and still going strong.although im thinking of buying a pumpbox later this year and keeping the trolley as an emergency back up.

cheers
