alarm
« on: March 05, 2012, 04:46:47 pm »
i was cleaning a customer's house today, noticed they had new patio doors, didn't think any more about it, i then heard what i thought was police sirens, when i got round the front i realised it was the alarm going off.

i haven't had a problem with the alarm before, so can only assume it was something to do with these doors.

i was ringing the police to let them know what had happened, when a pcso strolled round the corner, the alarm then stopped so i left her to it, not one neighbour came out to see what was going on.

That cleaner is a disgrace to the profession.

THREE points of contact at ALL times.

Shocking!!

If a house is burgaled on of the first questions the old bill ask is "Who is your window cleaner?"
We have been going for so long, and I'm on good terms with the local coppers,if its one of our custys they ring and ask when we were last there and did we see anything.

a village we clean regularly had a lot of break ins this Christmas, and a load now have these alarms that stick onto the inside of the window. worried bout them going off (tho half are switched off, lol). not happened to me yet.

saying that we've cleaned most of them for 7+ years, so they trust us pretty well. not planning on abusing that trust.
