The first insurance that is absolutely needed is Public Liability - covers you against claims made against you for damage caused by you in he course of your work.  I pay £75.00 per year whsi seems cheaper than others.  I used a brokerage in Grantham - SMTK their tel is 01476 564877 give them a call.

I have spoken to the above firm re Employers Liability and they tell me that it is difficult to obtain but they are looking in to the problem - does anyone know where that can be arrranged and has anyone used the NAWC scheme that I have seen adveetised rcently?

John.
