I had over a week off before christmas with illness with a couple of weeks respite then ill again! Followed by a week and a half off work due to freeezing temps etc (admittedly prob could of worked a bit more) so anyway back to work for a couple of weeks then bang..FLU, not man flu the genuine incapacitating FLU! I just cant wait to feel better and get out to work again, I do enjoy a bit of "homes under the hammer" but this is beyond a joke! Funny to think that in about 6 weeks time I got heatstroke at work that time last year! Anyway hopefully we will get another April like last year.

If it makes you feel any better, we just happened to take a week off on a canal boat round warwickshire at the same time last year and I aslo got sunstroke .I made myself better with fishing and beer and it was a quick recovery

Thanks Roy. It was the easter wknd did the job on the thursday had a restless night hot as a radiator but shivering with sweats, then felt like i had the hangover from hell the next day as I drove down to dorset for a lovely break so all was good in the end.

Dorsets lovely- we prefer to push on a bit down to cornwall- but thats prbably the cider and the surf calling me(old hippie )

plus it will soon be spring, so plenty to look foward to

i was ill for 8 weeks with a virus,comes,goes,comes,goes been ok for 3 weeks then last night all came back i am sitting here fully clothed with a dressing on,heating full on absolutely shivering and the fan belts have come off the van will be ready tomorrow hopefully,i really am getting p****d with it


could be worse i could be richy wilts
