If you want it to run off mains electric(240v) then no,you will need to use a 240v pump,
williamson pumps should be able to help you anyway,Gaz  ;)

i recently bought a pump from www.northerntooluk.com alot cheaper than most also v.good for pressure washers etc

http://www.dualpumps.co.uk give them a ring with your requirements, they have a good back up service.
