anyone on here use a mk3 aqua dapter with a gardiners carbon gooseneck on a slx18? whats it like?

I've got a mk2 with the quick release top so I can use a goose neck, but it really wouldnt be worth it on first floor windows, get the qr swivel instead. The carbon goose neck is great for 2nd storey and higher
