Sounds like the pressure setting needs increasing. Cold weather slows it all down

I don't have one, I can tell you how to set the Varistream one. Best wait for a while and see if someone comes on who has a Streamline version.

The controller is telling you that the Pump Pressure switch has activated - The pressure has built up in access of 100PSI

In this case it is not the controller that has stopped the pump it is the pump pressure switch itself

If PS is displayed, this means that the pump's pressure switch has been operated due to a high build up of pressure in your system. The controller is set to work with a 5.2 litre per minute pump up to 100psi, although it will work at higher ranges. Common causes for the pressure switch operating are:

1. A restriction to the water flow, i.e. from a twisted hose.

2. Blocked or small water jets. (We recommended that the jets are no smaller than 2mm).

3. Grit or dirt trapped in the system.

4. Air trapped in the system.

5. Prolonged shut off of the water flow.

6. New or misaligned fittings can also cause a pressure build up

Work from the brush back along the system to the pump and ensure there are no restrictions any where.

Hope this helps

Ian

I have a Streamline Digital pump Controller show P5  ???

What does at mean please? I can't use my pump now  :(

Another though occurs - The temperature is very low today in some cases below freezing, the cold air and cold ground will have an impact on Two things

1) The wall of the hose will be much stiffer and not expand as much
This will have an impact on the pressure in the system it may be that you need to alter the calibration on the controller to take this into account.

2) Cold water flows more slowly again impacting on pressure - to over come what appears to be low flow EG the water is moving more slowly in the cold Have you increased the flow rate? Effectively the pump will have to work harder to achieve the same flow rates.

May sound daft but check for any ice build up from the jets back along the hose.

Ok having checked for any restrictions and ice. the next step would be to check the pump itself

The easy way is if you have a spare pump connect it and see if the same thing happens. Also check the electrical connections.

The cold may also be having an effect
