Was going to get one last year but decided against it but I've started thinking about getting one again like a
L200 or a navara!
Anyone use one?

I have run a L200 for the past 4 years its got a 500l tank and two reels 2 clx's fit in the back and a 35 SLX on the roof rack with the ladders. It is brilliant. For my set up see my previous post or ask me any questions. I get more than 20mpg. It costs me £85 from empty to full and I get about 375 miles from that. I always carry 500l every day and one other passenger with most of the time a gutter vac in the back seat with scrims/trad stuff. When this bites the dust I will def get another. Its an older L200 Warrior 53 plate. Cheap to pick up now I think

One of mine is a L200 with a 550 in it.
Its harder to work from these than a normal van.

My first WFP system was in a trailer, with the poles & hoses and other gear in a discovery.
Looked good, but fuel economy was terrible and most jobs were difficult to park.
Most 4x4s can probably take a decent sized tank - but it's the fuel economy that would put me off getting one again for work

I've had a navara 04 plate for a month or so. Got used to parking it at jobs now. I like how the cab windows doesn't cover with layer of condensation. Found that annoying in winter with my van.
I have a 350l tank which makes good use of the space between the wheel arches.
Finding i get between 28 and 31 MPG. Dont travel huge miles for work anyway. so cost is not an issue. I dont want to travel to much for work as its down time as well as fuel cost.
Potential to carry more water containers or a larger tank.
Have two hose reels that secure into the tailgate. Can pull hose out most angles. Poles only just fit in back. But could put them on roof if needed.

Any pics? I like the idea of this instead of a van.
