Still looking at WFP and seeking opinions. I currently use a Wagtail, sometimes on a pole and find the swivel action very good. Do many of you water fed pole users use a swivel such as the Gardiners Resi Neck with Swivel.

And Goosenecks. Are they only used on deep recessed windows?

i have the resi neck swivel and have had it for a 2 weeks and to be honest mmmmmm i think its ok on the ground floor its like a wagtail in your hand,but once its on the first floor windows i am not impressed with it,it can lock out on you,at a angle and you have to knock it against something to straighten it out or drop the pole down to ground level and start again i think i would use a standard connection or goose neck in the early days.
just my opinion,other opinions are available,calls to mobiles may be charged at a higher rate

I have three carbon goosnecks & a resi-neck swivel. The carbon necks rarely get used, in fact only for work above 30ft.

I've used swivels for about 5 years & couldn't work without one.

Be wary of peoples opinions of swivels- as with wagtails, they take time & understanding to be able to use them properly, but, when you do, you'll be flying!

i dont see how you can clean the awkward windows properly like above conny or windows that are hard to reach that arnt right above you with out being able to twist the brush head with some type of swivel,maybe im missing something tho

No, you're not missing anything, you're right.

You need a short Gneck and a swivel that can be adjusted for torque.The longer the gneck the less you need the swivel ability, more likely just and angle adjustable and on max work just a left and right tight adjustable.
