blowing a gale again
« on: January 05, 2012, 09:24:11 am »
My return to work has been short lived! Started back yesterday and finished early as it started lashing down. Today the wind has returned big time, literally blowing a gale.  :(

I did my second day yesterday with the view of making today my third. Rain has stopped here but wind has returned. Think I'm still going to go though.

Your in my neck of the windows arent you tom?

I am sat in feelingbad about not working even though its really bad out  , so its good to know im not the only one

We have no shops or commercial left just trad houses so its not really possible to get out , even poling would be a no go as the pole would prob be snapped by the gusts

it cant last forever ...... can it?

:)

I'm in Sale/South Manchester Sean. The forecast is pretty bad for the rest of the week. I was chatting with a builder yesterday who was up some scaffolding and we agreed that sometimes, you just have to forget it. What can you do? If you go out thinking that it's the right thing to do, want to earn some dosh and also not let your customers down but the opposite could happen.
I am about to add carpet cleaning to my list of services. They don't care what the weather does!

Your not far from me then. I went out for 2 and half hours in the end from half 1 till 4. Got a bit done so im well Happy. Was getting a bit sick of seeing 4 walls. Hopefully with a half decent day tomorrow and a half day Saturday it wont be a total write off this week !
