I know Peter Fogwill does his `FogWash`hot water system for
WFP and there`s also Ionic`s `Thermo-Pure`.
What are members views on the benefit of installing a hot water
Cleaning system in their vehicles as opposed to just using normal
Cold water at 000ppm.
Am I wrong in thinking that if cold water at 000ppm will leave
Spots and streaks hot water at 000ppm will do exactly the same.
I leave it to the membership to put me straight on the technicalities
Of hot water systems.
What makes me ask is,like most on the group I have some windows
That seem to constantly `spot`or smear.
Could a hot water set-up be an option?

Hot water won't stop spotting on problem glass, I will stop hoses freezing in the winter, and aid cleaning especially on first cleans and conny roofs

i have had a hot ionic system for over 3yrs now. it is brilliant but, they are expensive to buy, run,  and repair etc .however, cleaning results with hot water is second to none!, i was without hot water for a few weeks and found it much more difficult to maintain my usual high standards.  i have only had spotting once, which was not my fault. and no matter how much i cleaned it, it reappeared after a few days, I tested my water on other windows with no problems, could not convince customer that it was not my water even cleaned them trad and spots came back. i am
convinced that as long as your water is pure, the spotting comes off the frames ie paintwork alluminium frames etc . it is all about rinsing with care IONICS systems are in my opinion the best. you get what you pay for.

Lee, I would have agreed with you a year or so ago but not so sure now. We all know that spotting on the glass is caused with water droplets being left on the glass, and the less water droplets, the less chance of spotting.  And we all know that the viscosity of water changes when it heats up, making it easier to flow or run.  To what extent I don't know, I have never done tests. But I would say hot water will give you less chance of spotting being left on the glass.

Lewis I wouldn't advise you to go out and get a hot system for this reason only.  What I would suggest is if you could go out with someone in your area that uses hot water and see what the difference is first.

spotting on windows you shouldnt if you give the frames a good clean first time then just a quik rinse round the next times mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm aint that right Mr Bones !!!!!
