Treat yourself to a resi-neck swivel Daz & double the revelation!
over the last few weeks i decided to try my black soft extreme brush from gardiners again.first impressions a few months ago was that it was a bit too weedy for my liking.i kept knocking it against the frames and was having difficulty cleaning sills.anyway my sl dt flocked is getting a bit worn now and my mono is used for fascia/soffit/conny roof cleaning so i thought id give it a few weeks on my slx.what a revelation!!its so light im cleaning awkward windows with ease!!virtually no strain on shoulders at all!!the scrubbing ability is good.the bevelled edge is great for stubborn bird muck as well.for regular maintenance cleans its great IMO.the only thing is i dont think itll last more than a few months before having to order a new one but itll be worth it just for the ease of use and much less strain.how are you guys getting on with the radius sill brush?is it the same weight as the extreme?i prefer the softer brushes as they are excellent on leaded and delicate wooden windows as well as standard plastic windows.the weight is 165g i think(extreme brush).what a difference a few grams lighter makes during my working day!i think its very important to keep strain to a minimum so we all have less chance of RSI.REGARDSDAZMOND
now all youve got to do is get rid of the aqua-dapter,and you'll be amazed how easy your working day will become.
Why pick the tap off the floor,I have mine with a key hasp and a carabina on my belt loop.Tap easily to hand and instantly able to disconect from my belt
I've started doing the same as Tosh. Have a nice soft pole hose, run it outside the pole and just fold the hose over when you want to stop the flow. It takes a bit of practice,at first you keep dropping the hose but after a few days it's much easier than other methods. No bending over every time you want to turn on/off, no added weight from a device at the brush end of the pole. One other benefit is less dirt up the inside of the pole.
