Fascia Boards
« on: November 29, 2011, 01:12:10 am »
OK , I worked out how much i wanted on a day rate for a commercial job , and purchased Jet washing equipment , included into the price, and got away with it .
But now i have the equipment , i have a couple of domestics, wanting the their boards to be done .
i`m thinking £4-£6  a metre ,, they are not basic boards , but have large coveing which includes those teeth like detail .

what would be a fair price?, i dont want to be declined , nor do i want sell myself short .

Think of a price and double it? A general rule of thumb that seems to work.

Don't be afraid to lose some quotes ... you'll always be too expensive for some of the folks out there and cheap businessmen go out of business fairly quickly and on a daily basis.

You have the kit ... they want it done ... just got to agree on price ... which is where all the other business related stuff comes in ... you are in an ideal situation because the client might be unaware of any other fascia cleaners in the marketplace ... they may contact someone else who wants to put up scaffolding and scrub it with a brush (600)? or they may know someone who has agreed to do the lot for a tenner  :o
