Ledgermate
« on: November 14, 2011, 06:13:18 pm »
Hi guys

I used to have something called a ledgermate, but I lost it.  I would love another one but I can't remember where I got it from.  I've looked on most of the online stores and can't find one.  Anyone know if they still exist.  For those who don't know it by name it was an extended squeegee that fitted on an extension pole that was bent at an angle so you could squeegee right down to the bottom of a high window over ledges and large window sills.

WFP probably means there is not much call for them, but it was brilliant for high internal windows.

If you know where I can get one I will be very grateful.

Cheers  Rob

Think the handle you are talking about is made by ettore and is called the ledgeze, available from the window cleaning warehouse, regards, Chris.

It's not quite the same but it might work.  The one I had, had a 10 -12 inch neck from where it fitted on the pole to the squeegee part, and was possibly brass, it was gold in colour anyway.

Hi Rob,I use 2 different size `LedgerMates`.They are possibly
My favorite tool for both `trad`and WFP.I`ve adapted both of
Them.
They were made by Peter Fogwill but like his `SqueegeeMates
They are now obsolete. It will always amaze me that they wer`nt
And did`nt become more popular than they did when they first
Came onto the market.Peter once said to me they were ahead
Of their time,and I agree.
