Thanks for the replies.

Further to this I am thinking of getting a netbook for taking out with me so that I can run the full program on it. Something like Aspire One.

The screen size is 10.1 inch which gives not quite the right height for the main menu screen (by about 1/4") has anyone used george with a netbook and is the height issue actually an issue?

Hope that makes sense.

I use george on a notebook with win7 32 bit - no problems.

The only issue I've had is one of the updated screens - for updating multiple jobs doesn't fit within the screen, although I've never had need to use it.

I'm guessing you could alter the display resolution to make everything smaller?

I used to take the notebook out with me - but since I've had a palm pda running pocket george I've not bothered.  I just sync it with the notebook when I get home.

My desktop computer is a few years old now, and I've had a couple of laptops in that time too - it's nice to know that George is on a stand alone sysyem, and I back up to the internet each evening.

The only issue you will have with Windows 7 is the 64 bit edition with Pocket George on a Palm PDA. There is a syncro problem which there is a work around. A search will better info you.
Windows 32 bit with Pocket George should be no problem.

I don't think I have experienced any problems syncing via Bluetooth. What is that problem you mentioned?  :)
