Hi Guys,
i was at an auction recently and there was a load of Car Valeting vacuums, I only went to the viewing day, didn't bother going to sale day (weather was too good to miss work)
The vac's didnt have any label's or names on them so don't know what make or power they were, but they did look the same as these (link) or similar, same size n shape.
some were 240 volts most were 110 volts.. guess they'd been 'on-site' builders vacs..

Anyway the question is would they be any good for use as a gutter vac? Obviously would have to buy tubes etc seperetly but seemed a cheap way in to gutter vac's?

If you can get a bargain then why not? But personally I would want it to be an absolute bargain (ie £15 or so) as you don't know what kind of life it's already had. Assuming it's running well and is a 1400W like the one in your link it should be good to work at 20ft.

Quite often you can put in a commision bid at an auction. Go to the viewing and give them your best price for what you want. If no one outbids you then it's yours, even if you're not there on the day.
