What you guys charging on standard 2 and 3 bed houses in the midlands area??? Ive been doing a round in warwick/leamington for 7 years but hardly changed my prices since day one..
Spoke to a windy today he's doing them at £12 standard and £15 with a Connie but im doing them at £8 to £10 I am under cutting myself???

Oh also has anyone got a spare 25L di vessel they wanna sell me cause I want rid of my new 11L??

Think about how much the cost of living has gone up in the last 7 years! You need to increase your prices!

definitely too cheap. the problem is you can never stick prices up to what they should be after that long. every couple of years now I put them up a quid or so. I made mistake of leaving it for years and trying to put up a lot and upset a lot of customers!

I'd say.your average conservatory on 3 bed semi would be 6 to 8 quid at least at a guess, then with the house I imagine it would come to 12-15 anyway.

The price of living has gone up true, but has people wages or disposable income ?
It has to be a happy medium, window cleaning is not an essential service.
Sounds like you could increase a bit though £10 / £12 ?, if you have a long standing and loyal customer base explain this rise in the fact your prices have not risen since starting and this is to reflect your running costs.
I am charging more to new customers now and trying to increase the lower priced ones slowly and by a small amount to offset any I may lose, especially over this winter.

if your charging say£10 for 3 bed semi for a new custy and they are all accepting those prices (you maybe under charging)

try £12 if you get 4 out of 5 accepting
try £15

How can you be undercutting yourself that doesn't make sense, but then neither does not increasing your prices in 7 years

We get a rise every time we pick up a house and people are getting a wage cut so how can we put up prices

8-10 is fine if they are smallish and compact , but if you can get more do

I did some £6 - £10 compact 3 bed stuff today and in 6 hours with a lad on downs(trad) knocked out 35ish...
But they are due a rise , point is money can still be made , HOWEVER , new jobs get charged at £10 minimum now

And next year putting all prices into that category... So start as you mean to go on , but don't stress about any at £8 - 10 if you make money on them

i dont have a compact round but all realtively close in the diff areas i cover -

however despite having some at 6quid fronts only and starting at 8 for small 1/2 bed bungelow or house - most of mine now start at 11/12 quid and i try to get ones with small conny another 3/8 quid depending on size

i deally id like a perfect average of 15 quid a job coz most days would be great then.

some are decieveing ive got a 2bed det bungelow ay 11quid which takes 35/45mins owing to the amount of hose i have to run round in awkward places - she now makes a habit of having me do 3 inside kitchen windows as well.  no extra charge but next march i need to put up.

then ive got a 5 bed large detached house takes 35mins for 25quid - both of these job times include unpack and pack away.
