Hi All.
I had a phone call from a customer this morning complaining of scratched glass.I have been cleaning the property for 3 years. She admits the scratches may have always been there as she does not really look that closely at the glass but the low morning sun has shown the scratches up. I have just recently changed to gardiners using the Extreme light standard brush(white) which I do like.
The customer was the last clean of the day , so I then cleaned my house and to my horror has also got scratches on inspection this morning.
I regularly check the brush for debris to avoid this sort of thing.I may have been unlucky and dragged something over the glass or maybe I have applied to much pressure on the glass as the brush is designed to be fast and lightweight and does require more pressure to get stubbord marks off. This may have resulted in the glass being scratched. So I am a bit concerned if I will get any more calls. This is the first complaint like this in 5 years of WFP but I must admit it has rattled me a little.
As a matter of course I have checked the brush and I can't see anything wrong with the bristles or debris etc.I am going to replace the brush though.
Anyway just wanted to get it off my chest as I hate having any sort of complaints which thankfully are few and far between. The customer has been very good but is obviously going to keep a closer eye from now on.
Thanks Jay
