Whats a woodbridge like?
« on: November 15, 2005, 11:30:00 pm »
Im looking around for a used truckmount, so far i've been offered 2 diesel woodbridges.  Whats the view on these?
If you were looking for a used truckmount what would you be looking for?
Any  advice appreciated.
Thanks, Paul

hi , the woodbridge machines were only made for few years  and in my opion not to the standerd of the big yanky setups that hav been making them for years , woodbridge was a very small setup compared to them  hence y they dont make them anymore , my freind brought one of the very first ones and had nothing but greif for two years  lost a lot money in days of to get it fixed   and it caught fire couple times ,even the battery exploded on it !  the list of faults was endless  even down to the fresh water tank spliting open 3 times, id say u can prob pick them up very cheap
p.s the noise is deafing

Squeeky

Have you considered my Electric Custom built T/M, more heat than most petrol/deisel machines, 1400psi water pump, Roots Blower, very cheap to run ( you only need to buy Kerosene for the heater) no need to spend ££££££s on fuel every week, very quiet in action, what more can you ask for.

Oh I almost forgot Bargain Priced to sell!!
I get better looking each day!!

Thanks for the replies.
As I though Hydramaster get the big thumbs up.
I have been speaking to Craig at Hydramaster and getting some quotes for a new 450d setup but a little out of my price range at the moment, he's going to let me know what used Tm's they have coming in.

John if its such a good buy why have the  5 previous buyers not done the deal.  ???
I looked at it when it was on ebay but lost interest when it when above £100.
Don't take offense, but its not what im looking for.

Only one person has been to look at it and it was not for them. All the other (buyers) in fact there has been 10 people who have enquired about it, NOT 5 have made NO attempt to view!!!!

Thanks for looking at it on Ebay, but by looking at a pic, please tell me and others just how could you judge the performance of the machine?? If you can judge like that surley you know what a Woodbridge machine is like ::) ::) ::)

The mind boggles.

Hey Squeeky, Steve Knight has seen this machine in action, why not ask him about it's performance??

By the way no offence taken.

I get better looking each day!!

Squeaky!

You're post about John's truckmount was out of order. Once it got "over £100" you wasn't interseted! Rubbish!!!

I know there are several people selling woodbridge truckmounts at the moment, go look, if you like then buy!

Don't critisize other peoples equipment without at least speaking to them or looking!

I know from other posters on here that his setup is one of the best and for the price is an absolute bargain. If I had the money I'd buy it today.

I've been speaking to him for a few weeks now and he's the nicest and most helpfull person you could possibly meet. He's also the first person on this forum to offer honest advice and suggestions to any questions.

Give him a call, you might think again,

Kind regards,
Jason.
