JUST GOT CHEAPISH VAN INSURANCE

Just got cover for £680 (i know its a lot, but some were asking for £1500! (DIRECTLINE) thats full comp, no questions about the tank, only £8 charge for installments, 9 yrs no claims, 36yrs old, and one other driver.

free courtesy car, and legal cover too.

just because they dont ask dosent mean you dont have to tell them, dont want to be all doom and gloom but if you have a claim and they dont know (if they need to know)then they probably wont pay out,

You are basically driving without insurance. It's in the small print. One accident is all that it takes. You are required to list any and all modifications to your vehicle. If you don't your insurance is nil and void. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but that's exactly what you are looking at. Having had quite a modified car before I unfortunately know all about it.

think my van was around £480 fully comp + replacement van while mine off road
that covers the van having fitted tanks etc...    15 yrs no claims & 45 YO

is roof bars a modification?  i know that i had to declare about the stickers on my van, ie were they on 3 sides or 4 sides  , do you think theyd wriggle out of paying if stickers were added to a clean side?
