Always make me suspicious when new members advertise products !
I'm sad to say that that was the first thing that crossed my mind. The initial post had an advertising ring to it. Why didn't Darren reply to the original thread as apposed to starting a new one?
Whilst its good that Bushboy for example believes that he has had a first class service from this company, we also know that fitting a van mounted system is not that complicated, even although it may appear to be for someone new to WFP. Many DIY systems are just as good as the main suppliers. It's not rocket science.
I would also ask why a simple check wasn't made to the system before it left the factory to ensure that the charging system worked. If it wasn't connected up during installation even if in error, then I couldn't give this company full marks for a well designed and fitted system. If it did work then and didn't later, then that is part of his after sales service pledge and guarantee that he needed to honour.
It was your right to receive that service, after all, you had been inconvenienced by that failure. It's wrong for you to feel that he has done you a favour to repair/replace faulty equipment/workmanship that is his obligation to you to begin with.
As I have no experience with K Systems quality, design and fitting, I am in no position to confirm or challenge you comments about their products. (To put this in perspective, I personally did notice on their ebay advertising that they use a really heavy duty hose reel.) But what I am saying is that his after sales service must be put into the right context.
I also see that they are advertising a 2 man setup with R/O system for £2685.00 which is a lot more expensive than the £1200.00 you paid, although I guess your system didn't include the R/O etc as you have that seperately at home. The figures don't quite seem to add up in by mind though.
Oh BTW, K Systems are also going to have a website shortly.
