Engine oil on windscreen

Hi All,

Just wondered if you could help me, a friend of mine has just rang me, and don't ask me why but he took his engine cap off while the car was running and the oil went all over his windscreen, he's tried in vain with allsorts to try getting it off but he cant, have you guys got any suggestions please?

You can use gunk they use it to clean engines.

gunk should do it, it is only a degreaser so shouldn't damage the windscreen

Cellulose thinners should shift it, it won't hurt the glass but don't get it on the paintwork or it will damage the paint.  ;)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

i sprayed it all over my engine the other day and preasure washed it of!!
like a new penny!!

i have done this haha also i have put antifreeze in the washer ducts when i first learnt to drive :-)

Methylated Spirit. I'm a huge fan - for all sorts of things. I even add it to my tank in cold weather.
Not a bad drink either  ;D
