aqua -daptor polehose used as main hose
« on: October 13, 2011, 09:33:13 am »
A couple of months ago i started a topic 100 mtr rolls of polehose , there wasnt many to choose from but now aqua-daptor now have some 100 mtr rolls .
for the last couple of months ive been trialing aqua-daptor hose as a main hose and find this to be the best ive used , using both hot and cold water .
the hose i used was the red and orange and found them both to be as good as each other , no kinks what so ever , it takes a couple of days to get it more flexable but after that its the bizz .
Anyone whos been using pole hose as there main hose , i would recommend that you give the aqua-daptor hose a try .

Ive been using pole hose as a main hose now for a good few years i used to join 3 x 30mtrs , this worked fine with cold water but no good with hot as the joints used to come apart .
recently i got a 100 mtrs from alex which i still havent had a problem with that what i got is the newer stuff he sells .
Just before i got that paul from aqua-daptor sent me 2 diffrent types of hose to trial and this hose is much better than any other pole hose ive used for the main hose .
i used the hose with both hot and cold water , used 3 diffrent pumps to see if the hose would swell under pressure , pulled it tight around houses to see if it would split , run it across roads to see if cars ,vans ect would damage it but there wasnt even a mark on the hose .

So you're using 100mts pole hose from reel then standard hose from pump to the reel. I can see the benefits (Lighter, easier to manage and cheaper) are there any drawbacks. I'd have thought it puts a lot of strain on the pump or am I wrong?

while using 100 mtrs op pole hose ive not had any problem what so ever , my mates just gone onto polehose from minibore and says he wished he been using it all the time , like you say craig its a lot lighter .
