Dedicated Protector Sprayer - Pump or Electric?
« on: September 30, 2011, 08:15:42 pm »
All

I am in the market for a new dedicated protector sprayer and am mulling over a Gloria, IK9, Orion or the electric sprayer from WCW.

I've had a good search about this and the other place about protector sprayers and there doesn't seem to be an industry standard.  There also seems to be a difference of opinion in the spray pattern of the jet.

Anybody have a decent sprayer with appropriate nozzle that they have been using to good effect that I might buy?

Chris

Chris, I would recommend a Gloria sprayer as they really are lifetime sprayers and parts are readily available, go for a stainless steel one,

You can integrate a QD's for swapping between fabric spray gun for upholstery and lance for carpets, will take some messing about getting correct threads though.

Don't get a plastic sprayer, they don't pump up high enough for the PSI required for protector applying. You want high PSI for a better spray pattern. (around 50 psi)

My preference on jets is 65/01 upholstery gun

80/02 on the lance for carpets,

Craig.
