 Readability.

In numerous tests in the past, reverse type (white text on black background) was found to reduce readership by 50%. The exceptions to this rule were overhead projectors and theatre programmes

At least make it easy to read.

If you want to get noticed have a blank page except for a title saying 'Carpet Cleaning from £8.99 call now on ........' in big letters. Not only will you get noticed you will also get people to call you. Joking aside, we all think people read every word of krap we write about how wonderful we are. While some will, most want a phone number and a price.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Hi Mike it doesn't show up in google as it's a free website which is designed for me to advertise it myself like putting on my business cards or my van for people to see then go to it.

Free websites do show up in Google and often do very well because of the main site's size and authority.

Yours is indexed by Google (after all, it is a Google site) but may not be ranked very well. I'm not sure what you are trying to rank for.
