I usually use my trusty henry vac on stairs.. however it can be a bit of a pain having to carry the henry and the sebo in to the customers home so i just bought this little beauty...

Ideal for stairs and sofas as it has a motor driven brush and a 1000w vac motor...  just tried it on my sofa and i couldnt believe what it manage to extract!!

Now.. if i am gentle with her i wonder how long she will last..??

Just buy a Kirby mate. The upright arm can be removed and replaced with a handle where the bag fits on to. Great for doing stairs, beds etc...  By the way its a lot lighter than it looks (especially with an empty bag). I love Kirbys! Been using a G4 for 5 years and have just bought a G7! Amazing machines with amazing pick up! You can get a G4 now for well under £100 with all the attachments! Last you a lifetime!

No idea who the kid is by the way!

Hmmm.. Kirby vacs are very good! so do they all dismantle to a hand held vac to clean stairs then?

I think so! All the 'G' models do anyway. Very easy to use

These have been around for years under numerous names, most famously Hunter Vac. All exactly the same but with a different name badge on the front.
Some years back I bought 2 from Somerfields for £29 each, at the same time a well known supplier to us all was knocking them out at £99
They're not bad but do tend to get very hot if used for more than about 10 minutes in one go. Keep the filter clear too.

I have a Hunter, exactly the same thing but different name/colour.  As Neil says, it fries itself... mine has warped its own casing through running so hot the way we use them professionally :o

They go through belts very quickly too, and it is a pain replacing them.

But having said that, the machine totally revolutionised my curtain cleaning - gets a shed load of dust/fluff out of them which is great to show the customer in the plastic container ;)

Use one on a mattress and see what comes out  ;)
