Hozelock Alternative?
« on: September 22, 2011, 03:00:54 pm »
Looking for a hozelock alternative due to lack of space in system.

Currently hozelocks are too long and create problems as they are too close too my tank, linking the hose causing it to pull a bit and create leaks.

Are there any alternatives out there?

If it helps, I am connecting to a thread where currently a male screw in hozelock is, then female attaches to that, so if anything that can fit that thread, like a Rectus type fitting or something, then the female equivalent to fit 1/2" hose would be great...

If you want to use for hosing on a reel then go for 6mm microbore. If you want to use in inside the van from tank to pump & DI cylinder then use washing machine hose very robust stuff & lags easy.

Hi Concept,

I know of a fitting that might be what your looking for. Send me your email address and I can send you over some pictures. It might help.

Cheers
