Hose Roller Guide, best place to buy
« on: September 15, 2011, 11:16:28 am »
i am looking to van mount my reel to make life a bit easier.
and in a recent thread i have seen a roller guide and a fairlead guide. which will do what i want to do.

i was just about to order the roller guide form gardiners but as i only need that at the moment the postage is £7.75 making the roller £32.
the fairlead i can get on ebay with free postage for under £20

i have had a google but cant find any decent supplier.

does anyone know anywhere else to try. thanks

£7 postage from gardiners is a waste of money.
I want a better price for the proper rollers not the hozelock ones.

I need the flat plate roller guide to go through the van floor then the fairlead one on the bumper. The hozelock ones i have seen are all for corner mounting.

So mount them on the underside of the bumpers, I have on my Dispatch, works great! Corner ones I mean, Have never found flat surface mount ones.

Only downfall with bumper mounted is that you've got to remember they are there when reversing near kerbs, bust one recently, but for a couple of quid easy to change and does make the job so much easier.

I've got a Gardiners one sat in the Garage doing nothing. Couldn't face chopping through my floor.

If your interested in selling it let me know.
I already have. Factory hole in the floor with just a thin ply covering so easy to modify.

The gardiner ones are quality,.. worth every penny IMO.

The only other crowd that does them is Redashe,.. I doubt they're any cheaper though.
